Common Questions
Is this course anti-Christian?
No.
This course does not exist to attack Christianity or any individual belief system.
It approaches religion through historical, cultural, and psychological frameworks in order to understand how beliefs are formed, reinforced, and experienced.
You will not be told what to believe.
You will be given the tools to understand belief more clearly and to make your own decisions about what you believe moving forward.

Will this course make me lose my faith?
No.
This course is not designed to take anything away from you.
It is designed to help you examine what you already believe and understand where those beliefs come from. For some people, that leads to change. For others, it leads to a more grounded and intentional faith. The goal is not loss. The goal is clarity and agency.

I still feel afraid even though my beliefs have changed. Is this course for me?
Yes.
Many people experience lingering fear even after their beliefs shift, especially around topics like hell, judgment, or doubt. This course addresses not only the ideas themselves, but the psychological and nervous system responses attached to them. You’ll learn why those responses happen and how to begin relating to them differently.

Is this course therapy?
No.
This is an educational course, not therapy or a substitute for mental health care.
However, it is informed by psychological research and includes content related to fear, conditioning, and nervous system responses. If you are currently working through significant trauma, this course can be a helpful supplement, but not a replacement, for professional support.

Do I need any prior knowledge to take this course?
No prior knowledge is required. The course is designed to be accessible, even if this is your first time exploring these ideas. All concepts, historical, psychological, and cultural, are explained in clear, approachable language.

What if I’m not sure where I stand in my beliefs yet?
